CAR-HIRE
We will be pleased to arrange car-hire at our venues. A car is not necessary at any of the locations. Please remember that the production of a valid driving licence is essential. Cars cannot be supplied without this.We have set out below for your convenience a list of cars than can be supplied in the Algarve and in Mallorca together with the prices. For details of the full range and cost of cars available in these places as well as at our other venues as well as the cost of extras such as roof racks, baby seats, extra insurance etc, please check with our office.We will always endeavour to obtain for you the most favourable rates together with the best service.Algarve - a car is particularly useful in Portugal where our centre is 50 miles from Faro Airport.Taxi transfers can be arranged in the Algarve but the distance means that the cost can be as much or more than the cost of car-hire for a week.A cost saving option is to take a train from Faro across the scenic Algarvian coast to Lagos, from which Praia da Luz is just 15 minutes away by taxi. Trains in Portugal are reliable, comfortable and cheap.We can send you the train times upon request.
We normally use a company called Auto Jardim for our clients.They provide good-quality cars both at Faro and Lisbon airports. They are open 24 hours a day and have a desk at the airport. They make the formalities of picking up your car very easy. Prices include comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage allowance. However, please note that in the event of damage, there are steep excess charges of between around £350 and and £900 but these can be insured against for around 6 - 7 Euros per day payable locally.

Mallorca - The hotel accommodation is only 25 minutes from the
airport by taxi. A car is certainly not necessary but does provide a convenient
means to explore the island. Palma is accessible by taxi and bus. If you
want a car for a day or two, your hotel will be able to arrange this for
you locally.
We use a company called Hiper/National Atesa who will meet you on arrival
at Palma Airport. Their cars are all air-conditioned, well-maintained
and reliable.

Cyprus - With our centre ideally located in Pafos, a car is unnecessary.Your hotel can arrange car-hire for short durations to enable you to explore the island. Transfers from Pafos International Airport can be made by taxi or bus. If you would like to hire a car upon arrival,we will be pleased to arrange it for you. The cost of car-hire ranges from about £150 to £220 per week.
