Le stage de tennis de Brighton est destiné aux jeunes qui souhaitent parfaire leur technique et leur condition physique ainsi que recevoir une formation qui leur permettra de devenir coach eux-mêmes.
Ce nouveau stage de tennis pour adultes est organisé sur les terrains en gazon du Lawn Tennis Club de l'Université de Cambridge, l’un des plus anciens clubs de tennis sur gazon du monde.

What can be improved:
1. Organisation - The instructions to get to the camp were wrong: Melvin and Mathys were sent to Oxford rather than Brighton!
2. Welcome at the camp - For those attending the camp by themselves, the welcome instructions were very poor and the players had to find out about the instructions by themselves.
3. Food - The quality and the choice of the meals were not matching the standard that you could expect at a tennis camp in which players are practicing tennis many hours a day. Example: french fries, pizza, nuggets, etc. More healthy meals would be appreciated!
Thank you for your feedback. As this is a public forum I need to address the points raised. Before I do I must say that I am a little surprised as our team thought the boys really enjoyed their stay at the camp. We received very different feedback - even to the point that we thought they were so happy that they would return next year. We do appreciate all feedback though and respect each person's right to post their review. However, we feel we do need to give these points with some background
1. The Arrival details. We got the final communication wrong. We accidentally sent details to arrive in Oxford and not Brighton. This was our mistake and something we have never done before and will never do again. However, in all previous communication with the client (including our large welcome pack), we did include clear details on how to travel to Brighton. In addition, the client had been to the camp previously.
2. Welcome -On arrival at camp. The boys, despite being in the wrong camp, were allocated rooms very quickly. Every Sunday evening there is a welcome meeting where the camp is explained in detail. After dinner, there is a meeting where the schedule of the week is discussed and each player receives a player book with the breakdown of the week. Each morning, before the start of the tennis, we have a welcome meeting where we explain the order of the day. This is the first time we have had this feedback about the lack of communication because we have these steps in place.
3. Food - We can provide any player thinking about coming on the camp with an example menu. Each meal always has a salad/vegetable offering as well as carbohydrate and protein (key for players). We do sometimes include food that is requested by the young players (as many will enjoy at home) but this is not a typical menu described.
We take all feedback seriously and have discussed this feedback with our whole team. We would encourage any client who attends our camp to talk to us if they have any issues as we are very friendly and will sort things out straight away. In Oxford, we have an Operations Manager whose main job is to look after the needs of children from medication to homesickness to clarifying communication.
